ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting of the LWVCC is held every year between April 15 and June 30 at a date, place, and time determined by the Steering Committee. All members are invited via email and encouraged to attend.
It is at the Annual Meeting that we elect officers of the Steering Committee, adopt an annual budget, and approve an annual plan for the coming fiscal year. Other business may be transacted at this time, including changes to the bylaws and changes to the dues schedule. The meeting agenda and proposed changes are sent to the membership one month before the meeting.
The Annual Membership and Business Meeting for 2023 was held on Monday, June 19th, at noon via Zoom.
The guest speaker was Jessica McAllister, executive editor of the Centre Daily Times. Jessica will be sharing her perspective on news coverage in Centre County and the future of print journalism.
The annual budget for 2022-2023 was approved.
