Membership
League members are are active learners about the U.S. government and politics. They are involved with activities to encourage responsible citizenship in the county, on the Penn State campus, throughout the state, and nationally. Members work on candidates nights and voter registration dives, they prepare guides for voters, and they orchestrate forums on topics of interest to citizens.
Membership is open to everyone, including men, who are at least 16 years old. There are four membership levels. The annual membership dues includes memberships in the local League of Women Voters of Centre County (LWVCC), the state League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania (LWVPA), and the national League of Women Voters (LWVUS). Fees are paid annually as indicated below:
Membership Category Fees
$55: Member
$35: Additional Member (residing in the same household as a dues paying member)
$35: Young Adult Member (non-students, under the age of 35)
FREE: Student Member (at least 16 years of age and enrolled full-time in high school or post secondary school)
