The League of Women Voters of Centre County compiles a Voters' Guide for each Primary and General Election. The guide consists of information from the Pennsylvania State League of Women Voters for statewide and Presidential candidates, and information from the League of Women Voters of Centre County for local Centre County races. The Voter's Guide for the Primary Election of 2018 is available to view here. The Voters' Guide for the Primary and Special Election on May 21, 2019 will be available shortly.
The LWVCC has created a special Voters' Guide for the Special Election for the PA 12th Congressional District. Click here to view this Guide.
The League also hosts Candidates' Nights for each Primary and General election. The Candidates' Night for the Primary 2019 election will take place on May 1, 2019 beginning at 6:45 pm at the State College Municipal Building, 243 South Allen Street in State College. The CCLWV only hosts candidates in contested primaries at the Primary Candidates' Night. Featured races on May 1st will include the Republican candidates for the Centre County Board of Commissioners, the Democratic candidates for State College Borough Council, the Republican candidates for Benner Township Supervisor, and all candidates for the State College Area and Bellefonte Area Board of School Directors.
Questions for the candidates at the May 1st Candidates' Night may be submitted at the event OR submitted via email to email@example.com. Questions submitted via email must be received by April 29th at 5 pm. All questions will be subjected to screening by the designated LWV volunteers.
